Ms. Gordon is an experienced attorney with a practice focused on personal injury and mass tort. While attending The George Washington University Law School, Ms. Gordon pursued her passion for helping others through an internship at the New York County District Attorney’s Office and served as a legal advisor for the GW Health Rights Law Clinic. There, she assisted D.C. residents with legal issues involving access to healthcare, billing, and Federal programs through Medicaid and Medicare.
Following her graduation from GW Law School, Ms. Gordon’s demonstrated commitment to justice and allegiance to safeguarding the welfare of the community, led her to accepting a position with the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. Before being named Supervisor of the Violent Criminal Enterprise Bureau, she spent eight years serving as an Assistant District Attorney (ADA) assigned to the Narcotics, Intake, and Criminal Court Bureaus.
A significant part of Ms. Gordon’s career included overseeing and conducting proactive and reactive investigations into patterns of violence, firearms trafficking, murder for hire, and human trafficking. She routinely wrote applications for search warrants for residential and commercial establishments, electronics, social media accounts, historical cell site records, and pen registers/trap and trace/GPS.
Ms. Gordon skillfully handled all aspects and stages of criminal prosecution, demonstrating her expertise to the pursuit of truth. She meticulously drafted accusatory instruments, engaged in rigorous motion practice, and presented compelling testimonial, video, photographic, and scientific evidence (DNA, fingerprint, crime scene) to Grand Juries and at hearings and trial.
Ms. Gordon is experienced in representing individuals in a variety of personal injury claims, Civil Rights violations, contract disputes, and institutional sex abuse.
Ms. Gordon serves as the Co-Chair of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Video Gaming Addiction Litigation Group.
Ms. Gordon lectures on the on-going state and Federal litigation Involving gaming addiction and disordered gaming.
